Centenary of the Charles Dickens Museum
February 5 - June 29, 2025
On 9 June 1925, The Dickens House officially opened its doors, now recognised as the Charles Dickens Museum. Located at 48 Doughty Street, it remains the only surviving residence in London where Charles Dickens lived and wrote iconic works such as The Pickwick Papers, Oliver Twist, and Nicholas Nickleby. To celebrate its centenary of opening to the public, the museum will host a special exhibition from 5 February to 29 June, showcasing previously unseen artefacts alongside some of its most treasured exhibits.
